I am happy to talk about anything in mathematics during private lessons. I am ok to give private lessons anything (math related)- extracurricular math, college math, math for math competitions, and school math.

Private lessons are $95/hour, and at most one hour per week, though if cost is an issue, let me know, and we can discuss.

I expect that you are interested in math if you want to take private lessons from me. In particular, you should prepare a little for our lessons each week. If you are interested in math competitions, this may mean you take a practice competition each week and come ready with questions during our lesson (though math competitions are also just for fun). If you are interested in math outside math competitions, this may mean coming to class with a question about what a symbol means, or anything you’re learning or heard of but don’t understand. Don’t expect me to do all of the preparation and to only attend lessons with 0 effort put into math or what we are going over during lessons outside lessons.

At my discretion, I may offer a scholarship to one student who

1. Shows strong enthusiasm for math
2. works hard at math
